THE TEAM
You will join our Development team, responsible for software and hardware designing, producing, and maintaining our autonomous mobile robots - arculees. You will be a part of a cross-functional, agile, international, and distributed workforce, creating the best possible experience for our users.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Scrum Master facilitates communication and information exchange between internal groups.
Your tasks will include:
- Providing all support to the team using a servant leadership style and leading by example. This person should personify Agile.
- Guiding the Scrum Team and the Development of the team on self-organizing.
- Assessing the Scrum Maturity of the team. Helping the team to higher maturity levels at a sustainable and comfortable pace.
- Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments.
- Building a trusting and safe environment with an emphasis on healing and problem-solving.
- Facilitating “getting the work done” without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work.
- Creation of metrics to measure productivity and project progress to increase transparency.
- Facilitating all the scrum events, decision-making, and conflict resolution.
- Improving transparency and radiating information.
- Supporting and educating the Product Owner, especially concerning refining and managing the product backlog.
QUALIFICATIONS
- First level of Scrum Certification preferably PSM-I
- Solid computer science fundamentals with experience across a range of disciplines.
- One year of relevant experience as a Scrum Master.
- Good skills and knowledge of facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continuous improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
- Experience being on Scrum teams in a variety of contexts.
- International experience is a plus.
- Track record of continued and recent education in Scrum, including training, conferences, user groups, self-study, etc.
- Basic Knowledge of other approaches discussed in the Agile space: XP, Kanban, Crystal, FDD, etc.
