Here at The Exploration Company, we are developing, producing, and operating Nyx, a modular and reusable space orbital vehicle that can eventually be refuelled in orbit and that can carry cargo - and potentially humans in the longer run.
We want you as a talented Simulation Model Engineer to help us in our mission by:
Developing and validating models of physical systems and avionics equipment
Contributing to the development and validation of the real-time simulator used on the Hardware In The Loop (HIL) platform
Key Responsibilities
In your capacity as a Simulation Model Engineer, your role will be continuously evolving, but day to day your duties will include:
Specifying systems and avionics equipment models in conformity with end-users needs,
Proposing innovative solution to ensure end-users needs are met,
Conducting and carrying out the development of models of physical systems and avionics equipment
Validating the representativity of the stand-alone models
Contributing to the development and the validation of the full simulator (including multiple models) used on the Hardware in the Loop (HIL) platforms
Troubleshooting and resolving anomalies observed during test campaigns
In the role of Simulation Model Engineer ideally, you will have the following:
Master's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
Technical knowledge of modelling technics activities and simulation,
Knowledge of at least one of these software languages : C++ , Python, Matlab, Simulink, Java
Ability to quickly prototype simple models, simulators and embedded software
Genuine interest and passion for modelling Software activities and Software programming
Basic knowledge of system engineering and understanding of spacecraft systems
Team player – you love working in a team and share/propose ideas.
