Key Responsibilities

Lead architecture, design, and hands-on C++ development of coera’s core safety intelligence platform

Drive software delivery toward first certifiable release and customer deployment, adhering to functional safety standards (SIL 2/PL d)

Establish and continuously improve engineering toolchain, including testing, CI/CD, simulation, and validation practices

Collaborate with functional safety specialists, embedded systems engineers, and external partners to translate certification requirements into engineering solutions

Own technical priorities, make trade-offs, and align development with product and certification milestones

Guide and mentor the growing engineering team through technical leadership and knowledge sharing

As Lead Software Engineer at coera Robotics, you will work directly alongside the CTO to shape and build our core safety intelligence platform, enabling humans and robots to work safely together. You will take end-to-end technical ownership, from software architecture and hands-on C++ development to delivering our first certified release.
