SEO Specialist - Fully Remote

ABOUT THE ROLE

Careerscape is hiring an SEO Specialist to help improve website visibility, increase organic traffic, and optimize digital content for search engines. In this fully remote position, you'll conduct keyword research, optimize on-page content, monitor website performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute effective SEO strategies. COMPENSATION

* Annual salary between $65,000 and $90,000 based on experience

WHAT YOU'LL DO

* Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis

* Optimize website pages for search engine rankings

* Create and implement on-page SEO strategies

* Monitor website performance using SEO tools

* Analyze organic traffic and prepare performance reports

* Collaborate with content, marketing, and development teams

* Identify technical SEO issues and recommend improvements

* Track keyword rankings and search visibility

* Stay current with search engine algorithm updates

* Support ongoing digital marketing initiatives

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

* High school diploma or equivalent

* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is a plus

* Strong understanding of SEO best practices

* Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and keyword research tools

* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

* Strong written and verbal communication skills

* Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

* Reliable internet connection and dedicated remote workspace

* Previous SEO or digital marketing experience is a plus but not required

NICE TO HAVE

* Experience with Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, or Screaming Frog

* Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS

* Experience with WordPress or other CMS platforms

* Understanding of technical SEO principles

* Google Analytics or Google Ads certification
