ABOUT THE ROLE
Careerscape is supporting a client opening for a Remote Entry-Level HR Assistant. This role focuses on supporting daily human resources operations, maintaining employee records, assisting with onboarding, coordinating interviews, and providing administrative support to the HR team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and interested in building a career in human resources, people operations, or business administration.
The HR Assistant will collaborate with recruiters, hiring managers, and employees to help ensure HR processes run efficiently while maintaining confidentiality and delivering a positive employee experience in a fully remote environment.

COMPENSATION
The salary range for this role is $55,000 - $85,000 per year, based on experience, communication skills, organizational abilities, and client hiring needs.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Support daily HR administrative operations
- Assist with onboarding and new hire documentation
- Schedule interviews and coordinate candidate communications
- Maintain employee records and HR files
- Process HR forms and employment documentation
- Respond to employee inquiries and direct requests appropriately
- Assist with benefits enrollment and HR programs
- Prepare HR reports, spreadsheets, and documentation
- Update HR systems with employee information
- Support training and employee engagement initiatives

- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field preferred
- 0–2 years of experience in human resources, administration, customer service, or related roles
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, and Google Workspace
- Familiarity with HRIS systems is a plus
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Professional, dependable, and team-oriented mindset
NICE TO HAVE
- Internship or entry-level HR experience
- Knowledge of HR best practices and employment documentation
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS)
- Familiarity with HRIS platforms such as Workday, BambooHR, or ADP
