Key Responsibilities

Review transformer designs including core, windings, winding assembly, active part, tanking, and final assembly to ensure manufacturability

Assess compatibility between product design and plant capabilities using 3D and 2D design tools

Design and develop jigs, fixtures, molds, dies, and other customized tools to improve manufacturing ease and performance

Create and maintain manufacturing documentation such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WI), and CTQs

Contribute to structured improvement methods including DFMEA and PFMEA

Partner with design engineers, manufacturing process engineers, production teams, procurement, and quality to align design intent with manufacturing reality

Resolve shop floor challenges and identify opportunities to reduce complexity, cost, and cycle time
