As a Lead Product Designer, you will shape user experiences that are intuitive, engaging, and impactful, helping users take meaningful action through digital platforms. You will lead design initiatives across multiple product areas, including personalization, community engagement, and nonprofit-focused experiences, ensuring seamless interactions for diverse user groups. This role involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, conducting research, and transforming insights into actionable designs. You will mentor junior designers, contribute to design strategy, and guide the evolution of design systems. The position offers the opportunity to influence large-scale, socially impactful products in a fully remote, collaborative environment across North America.

Accountabilities

  • Lead the design vision and execution for multiple product experiences, ensuring clarity, usability, and engagement
  • Conduct user research and discovery to gather insights and translate them into actionable design solutions
  • Design end-to-end user journeys across web and mobile platforms, creating cohesive experiences for diverse audiences
  • Develop and extend design systems to accommodate new features and user groups
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, and Marketing to align designs with business goals
  • Prototype, test, and iterate on concepts using qualitative and quantitative feedback to optimize user engagement
  • Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and design excellence
  • Use data and experimentation to continuously improve conversion metrics, personalization, and lifecycle experiences


Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in product or UX design, including B2C and/or product-led B2B projects
  • End-to-end UX expertise, covering strategy, feature development, UX, and UI design
  • Strong experience in qualitative and quantitative user research, translating insights into actionable designs
  • Proven ability to design experiences that guide users through emotional journeys, enhancing engagement and impact
  • Experience with personalization, lifecycle design, and growth-oriented product features is a plus
  • Bonus experience designing for nonprofits, SMBs, or social impact-focused products
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams
  • Ability to mentor and inspire other designers, fostering innovation and high-quality design standards
