Optomi, in partnership with a Fortune 100 retailer, is looking for an IT Business Analyst (Apptio Consultant) for a remote role! This position is a mix of IT and Finance. You’ll work on an agile scrum team, managing Apptio administration tasks, supporting developers with system connections, and improving processes across platforms. The best fit for this role is someone who is motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with both financial data and technical teams. This is a remote role (working EST hours) where you can make an impact right away!

Experience of the right candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Systems, Finance, Computer Science, or similar experience.
- 5-10 years of experience with financial systems.
- Skilled in Apptio (tables, reports, data models, data connectors).
- Strong Excel knowledge (pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUP).
- Comfortable working with IT teams and developers.
- Bonus if you’ve worked with SAP, ServiceNow, or other enterprise platforms.
Responsibilities of the right candidate:
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of daily and monthly deliverables.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Apptio system issues and data variances.
- Collaborate with finance and technology partners to design and implement Apptio solutions.
- Manage and upload data efficiently into Apptio.
- Configure and customize Apptio modules for evolving business needs.
- Continuously review and enhance existing processes, identifying automation opportunities.
- Partner with IT product owners to define requirements for system integrations.
