About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Senior PLC Engineer to join their dynamic software development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing high-end accelerator control systems, ensuring reliability, efficiency, and seamless integration of automation technologies.
What will you be doing?-
- Develop high-quality PLC code for accelerator control systems
- Ensure reliability through reviews, documentation, and testing
- Collaborate with scientists, engineers, and stakeholders to define functional requirements
- Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation
What will you bring?-
- HBO degree in Control Technology or related field
- Strong expertise in PLC programming (Structured Text or similar)
- Knowledge of PLC concepts, system integration, and automation
- Experience with Beckhoff TwinCAT is a plus
- Familiarity with Python, Object-Oriented Programming, and Continuous Integration is an advantage
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
- Strong communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus)
