About the role
Reporting to the IT Superintendent , the ICT Technician is part of a small team responsible for providing employees with essential IT support and resolving technical issues and requests. Companies like NPM require a dedicated, centralised team to manage their IT infrastructure, ensuring that both software and hardware needs across various teams and departments are effectively.

About you
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT support, incident management, and service delivery within a fast-paced environment. They will possess a STEM degree or equivalent industry experience, along with ITIL certification to ensure efficient IT service management. With expertise in logging IT calls, troubleshooting technical issues, and maintaining knowledge base articles, they will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills. Organised and adept at prioritising tasks, they will effectively manage multiple requests while ensuring timely resolutions. A customer-focused approach is essential, with a commitment to delivering high-quality support and clear communication. Desirable qualifications include networking, Microsoft, or CompTIA certifications, as well as experience with Cisco switches, firewalls, and SAP systems. The ideal candidate will be eager to develop their technical skills while contributing to IT/OT projects and maintaining a reliable IT infrastructure that meets business needs.
