Maintenance Software Engineer in NETHERLANDS

A Software Maintenance Engineer is needed to ensure the reliability and efficiency of innovative mechatronic systems. This role focuses on maintaining and optimizing software for various systems and production tools, ensuring smooth operation, security, and adaptability to evolving requirements.


Responsibilities

  • Maintain and improve software for multiple systems and production tools.
  • Collaborate with customers, service engineers, and multidisciplinary teams to diagnose and resolve software issues.
  • Implement updates and optimize system performance while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Provide remote and on-site support in cleanroom environments and customer locations across the Netherlands, Western Europe, and occasionally in the US or Asia.
  • Document software changes, maintain development environments, and enhance software maintenance processes.
  • Identify structural issues and contribute to long-term system improvements.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in software maintenance, preferably in complex mechatronic systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, C#, and/or Python.
