Senior Storage Engineer 6 Month Contract Fully remote in the UK £400 - £430 per day - Inside IR35
My client a well-known bank is currently looking for a Senior Storage Engineer who manage the open systems storage for the financial sector. You’ll play a key in the day to day BAU work (upgrades, patching, storage allocations, backups) and incident support.
Key Responsibilities
Daily infrastructure checks and responding accordingly
Storage Provisioning and allocation
Backup and restore tasks
Infrastructure Upgrades
Skills required:
A sound understanding of the principles of resilience and operability in an enterprise storage environment
A broad understanding of surrounding IT infrastructure: hardware, networking, data
An aptitude to quickly assimilate and understand complexity under pressure to diagnose and remediate technical issues
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-changing environment
Bonus points for experience with VMware, Windows, Rhel, etc. and networking
