Back End Developer - DeFi - 120k in EMEA

Following a successful seed round of $7 million, backed by leading players in the crypto space, the company achieved a TVL of over $1 billion within just a few months. They have now announced their Series A funding of $10 million.

Our partner is seeking a talented Back-End Engineer to design, develop, and deploy the smart contracts driving their protocol, ensuring top-tier security, efficiency, and scalability.

Core Responsibilities:

• Full-Stack Development: Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable front-end and back-end components of a decentralized application (dApp) using React (Next.js), TypeScript, and Google Cloud services.
• Smart Contract Integration: Seamlessly integrate smart contracts into the dApp's front-end using Wagmi and The Graph, ensuring smooth communication between the blockchain and user interface.
• Collaboration Across Teams: Work closely with smart contract developers and QA engineers to ensure the application’s functionality, performance, and code quality meet high standards. Contribute to team meetings, participate in code reviews, and foster an innovative team culture.
• User Experience Optimization: Proactively identify areas for improvement and propose innovative solutions to enhance the dApp's user interface and overall user experience.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay informed on the latest trends and advancements in web3 and DeFi technologies. Leverage this knowledge to improve development processes, methodologies, and application features.

What They Require:

• Proficiency in React (Next.js) and TypeScript for building responsive and intuitive interfaces.
• Experience with Wagmi for web3 integration and The Graph for indexing and querying blockchain data.
• Familiarity with Solidity and Foundry for smart contract development and testing.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud services for backend and hosting solutions.
• Proven track record as a Full-Stack Developer in web3 or DeFi projects. Ability to deliver high-quality code autonomously while collaborating in a team environment.
