Python Developer in UNITED KINGDOM

Role: Senior Python Engineer (Neo4j/Neptune, Cypher) Contract

Location: Fully Remote (UK-Based)

Rate: £550–£600/day (Outside IR35)

Duration: 6–12 months

Interview Process: Two stages

Tech Stack: Python, Neo4j/Neptune, Cypher, Flask, FastAPI, GCP, BigQuery

About the Role:

We’ve partnered with a consultancy trusted by FTSE 100 and S&P 500 companies to deliver high-quality customer solutions. You’ll design, implement, and optimize backend systems, APIs, and infrastructure using best practices while collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement APIs and backend solutions.
• Monitor, test, and continuously optimize solutions.
• Explain technical solutions in client meetings.

Requirements:

• Strong experience with Neo4j/Neptune and Cypher.
• Familiarity with SQL, RDBMS, and key-value databases.
• Experience with GCP (e.g., Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, BigQuery) or similar AWS services.
• Proficiency in Python web frameworks (e.g., Flask, FastAPI) for building APIs and system integration.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Additional Info:

This role is outside IR35. Applicants must be UK-based with a registered company or willing to contract via an umbrella company.
