Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a skilled Front-End Developer with expertise in WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) using VB.NET and C#. This role involves enhancing the user interface and improving user experience (UI/UX) for core applications, particularly for multi-user environments with high operator turnover. The role also includes managing and optimizing data handling processes, ensuring seamless integration between front-end and back-end systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product managers and back-end developers to design and implement UI/UX improvements for WPF applications.
- Enhance the application’s overall look, feel, and functionality to support usability in multi-operator environments.
- Ensure the application is intuitive, accessible, and optimized for rapid learning and ease of use.
- Develop mockups, wireframes, and prototypes to communicate design ideas and workflows.
- Apply modern design practices to create user-friendly interfaces.
- Debug and resolve UI-related issues within WPF applications.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in front-end development, with a focus on WPF applications using VB.NET and C#.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Proficiency in XAML for developing user interfaces in WPF.
- Experience designing and improving UI/UX for applications in multi-user environments.
- Strong ability to develop high-quality, user-centric interfaces from concept to implementation.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Subversion, Git).
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
