Define and drive the product vision and strategy for the streaming platform, focusing on low latency, high-quality video, and minimal buffering.
Collaborate with engineering, design, and data science teams to develop and implement new features and improvements for the streaming platform.
Monitor and analyze key performance metrics related to streaming quality, including latency, video quality, buffering rates, stream stability, and playback smoothness.
Conduct user research and gather feedback to understand user needs and pain points, translating these insights into actionable product enhancements.
Develop and document business requirements for new features and improvements to ensure they meet user needs and business goals.
Prioritize product backlog and manage the roadmap for streaming platform initiatives, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new features and improvements.
Communicate product updates and progress to stakeholders and the broader organization.
Focus on improving streaming metrics to make a significant impact on overall business metrics.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and the competitive landscape to maintain a leading-edge streaming platform.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
5+ years of experience in product management, particularly within the streaming, video technology, or related industries.
Solid technical background with experience in streaming protocols (WebRTC, HLS), video codecs, and network performance optimization.
Proven track record of managing and delivering complex technical projects.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Passion for live streaming, gaming.
