Position: Senior Java/Python Developer

We are in search of a candidate with a minimum of
7-8 years of hands-on experience in the software development industry. As a
Senior Java/Python Developer, you will play a pivotal role with our client on their project which is with a Fortune 500 company. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in
Java development, and
Python programming, and good experience with cloud computing platforms like
Amazon Web Services (
AWS).
Note: This is a 100% Remote position for candidates who are residing anywhere in Canada.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions.
- Utilize Java and Python to create scalable and efficient applications.
- Design and implement microservices and RESTful web services for seamless integration.
- Work closely with AWS cloud services, leveraging your expertise to optimize performance and reliability.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD practices, with a focus on tools like Jenkins for seamless integration with GitHub and Artifactory.
- Showcase proficiency in server programming, databases, SQL data query, and cloud architectures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Minimum 7-8 years of solid software development experience.
- Expertise in Java and Python development.
- Hands-on experience with microservices and RESTful web services.
- Familiarity with CI/CD stacks such as Jenkins and Serverless.
- Extensive knowledge of AWS cloud services.
- Exposure to automation frameworks like Pytest or Nightwatch.
