Key Responsibilities

Design and write production Rust for the storage engine including ingestion, compaction, columnar storage on object stores, caching and query execution with DataFusion
Drive distributed caching, reliability and performance work from benchmarks to production
Contribute to cloud deployment discussions across AWS and Azure
Set engineering standards and best practice adopted across multiple teams and divisions
Participate in the on-call rotation
Mentor staff and senior engineers and grow the next generation of technical leaders
