Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain scalable Laravel/PHP backend systems
Build secure REST APIs and third-party integrations
Develop and maintain payment and transaction workflows
Integrate payment gateways, banking APIs, and other financial services
Handle payment statuses, webhooks, refunds, reversals, and transaction reconciliation
Maintain database performance, security, and data integrity
Identify and resolve complex backend, API, and transaction-related issues
Collaborate with frontend, QA, DevOps, and product teams

PayOn is building next-generation hospitality technology for Pakistan's HoReCa industry, focused on digital ordering, payments, transaction management, and restaurant operations.
We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer (Laravel) to work on our SaaS platform, payment infrastructure, APIs, and third-party financial integrations.
This is a technically demanding role. Candidates with FinTech, payment gateway, banking API, digital wallet, or transaction-processing experience will be strongly preferred.
