Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and scale cloud-based Actors for web data extraction under real-world load conditions

Develop new features and AI-driven approaches for popular Apify Store Actors while ensuring performance and reliability

Create internal tooling (e.g., shared libraries, AI-powered tools) to improve engineering efficiency across teams

Reverse-engineer websites, design APIs, and implement anti-bot strategies using proprietary tools (e.g., Apify Proxy)

Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, pairing sessions, and growth discussions

Own the architectural design and roadmap for Actors/tools, balancing innovation with maintainability

Collaborate with AI agents (e.g., Claude Code) for prototyping, testing, and code reviews while maintaining human oversight
