Apify is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer (Node.js/TypeScript) to join the Creators group, building the ecosystem that lets community developers create, publish, and monetize AI Actors. You will own features end-to-end, from discovery to production, while working in a small cross-functional team that ships in two-week sprints and deploys daily. The role requires 3+ years of backend/API experience, strong TypeScript/Node.js skills (or another language with drive to learn TypeScript), and hands-on use of AI tools in daily work.
Key Highlights
Build tools and features that help creators publish, monetize, and grow their Actors on Apify Store.
Work in a small cross-functional team shipping in two-week sprints and deploying daily.
Contribute to billing and payout infrastructure, including the emerging agentic payment economy, processing over $1.2M/month.
Fully remote option (monthly Prague visit required) or onsite in Prague/Brno; contribute to open source on GitHub.
