Key Responsibilities

Design and ship core product surfaces of 'Ask' (agentic AI platform) weekly, maintaining a live portfolio

Elevate design craft through example, coaching, and crits to set excellence standards for the team

Prototype in working code using AI tools (coding agents, image generation) to explore multiple design directions

Lead and steward a design system to accelerate squad shipping and prevent resource fragmentation

Oversee brand design, hire/manage a brand designer, and align with Product Marketing and Demand teams

Mentor senior designers without forcing them into management roles, fostering career growth

Design for unique environments (on-prem, air-gapped, sovereign clouds, multi-lingual, right-to-left interfaces)

Collaborate daily with Product, Engineering, Product Marketing, Demand, and Deployments teams

Establish clear team structure, ownership, and ways of working for a small but high-impact design team
