About this role
Our start-up client is looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer with 4–6 years of experience to own the full lifecycle of AI agent implementations — from customer onboarding and requirements gathering through production deployment and continuous iteration. You're a technically sharp, customer-facing engineer who thrives at the intersection of applied AI and real-world impact, and you're ready to help scale a function that's at the core of Take2's growth.
What will you be doing?
- Build, deploy, and iterate on AI interviewer agents using internal tooling (Python/JavaScript stack, agentic pipelines)
- Own the post-sale cycle end-to-end — from requirements to go-live to ongoing performance improvement
- Monitor production agent performance, gather customer feedback, and ship rapid improvements
- Partner with the engineering team to identify product capabilities and contribute to the codebase as needed

Seniority
4 - 6 years of experience in total experience with minimum of 2 years of FDE and 2 years of full-stack SWE
Work experience
Strong full-stack software engineering experience
Strong Python (APIs, data pipelines, eval harness, and testing framework) and JavaScript skills
Prior startup experience; Big Tech background only acceptable if paired with startup or scrappy early-stage experience
Demonstrated experience designing and deploying agent workflows at scale
Education

Hard skills

Based in NYC; must work hybrid in-office Mon–Thu (Midtown Manhattan)
