We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to join a growing technology-driven organization. In this fully remote role, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing enterprise-scale cloud environments while driving automation, security, reliability, and operational excellence across production workloads.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures across compute, networking, storage, identity, and data platforms.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
• Configure and manage cloud networking, including virtual networks, subnets, routing, and security controls.
• Implement identity and access management solutions using Azure Active Directory, RBAC, policies, and governance best practices.
• Architect, deploy, and optimize Kubernetes environments, including cluster scaling, networking, and container integrations.
• Manage cloud-based database and analytics solutions to support business-critical applications.

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using modern DevOps tools to automate infrastructure and application deployments.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions to ensure platform reliability and performance.
• Drive cloud cost optimization initiatives through resource planning, right-sizing, and lifecycle management.
• Develop and test disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity strategies.
• Enhance cloud security through proactive monitoring, compliance enforcement, and remediation activities.
• Collaborate closely with development, security, and operations teams to deliver cloud-native solutions.
• Create automation tools and scripts using PowerShell, Bash, and Python.
• Mentor team members, participate in architecture reviews, and promote cloud engineering best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of cloud engineering experience, including at least 3 years working extensively with Microsoft Azure.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure compute, networking, storage, identity, and platform services.

• Experience implementing monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert.
• Experience with hybrid or multi-cloud environments.
• Familiarity with service mesh technologies and containerized architectures.
• Knowledge of cloud financial management and optimization practices.
• Experience supporting regulated environments and compliance-driven workloads
