We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to join a growing technology-driven organization. In this fully remote role, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing enterprise-scale cloud environments while driving automation, security, reliability, and operational excellence across production workloads.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures across compute, networking, storage, identity, and data platforms.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
- Configure and manage cloud networking, including virtual networks, subnets, routing, and security controls.
- Implement identity and access management solutions using Azure Active Directory, RBAC, policies, and governance best practices.
- Architect, deploy, and optimize Kubernetes environments, including cluster scaling, networking, and container integrations.
- Manage cloud-based database and analytics solutions to support business-critical applications.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using modern DevOps tools to automate infrastructure and application deployments.
- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions to ensure platform reliability and performance.
- Drive cloud cost optimization initiatives through resource planning, right-sizing, and lifecycle management.
- Develop and test disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity strategies.
- Enhance cloud security through proactive monitoring, compliance enforcement, and remediation activities.
- Collaborate closely with development, security, and operations teams to deliver cloud-native solutions.
- Create automation tools and scripts using PowerShell, Bash, and Python.
- Mentor team members, participate in architecture reviews, and promote cloud engineering best practices.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of cloud engineering experience, including at least 3 years working extensively with Microsoft Azure.
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure compute, networking, storage, identity, and platform services.
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates).
- Experience designing and supporting Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environments.
- Proficiency with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD platforms.
- Strong scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Bash, and Python.
- Solid understanding of cloud security, governance, compliance, and identity management.
- Experience implementing monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
