Senior Product Manager - Brokerage

Accountabilities

The Senior Product Manager will own the strategy, development, and delivery of brokerage products, ensuring that user needs, business objectives, technical capabilities, and regulatory requirements are balanced effectively. This role requires a hands-on product leader who can drive execution, influence stakeholders, and build products in a high-growth environment.

• Own the product vision and roadmap for the brokerage platform, prioritizing features, enhancements, and new offerings based on customer needs, business goals, and regulatory considerations.
• Translate broader business strategies into clear product plans, requirements, and execution priorities.
• Gather insights from traders, business stakeholders, and leadership teams to identify opportunities and define product direction.
• Make strategic prioritization decisions while balancing speed, customer value, compliance requirements, and operational risk.
• Define success metrics for launched products, including adoption, engagement, retention, funding conversion, and overall user impact.
• Conduct product discovery by engaging with traders to understand pain points, workflows, and opportunities for improvement.
• Create detailed product documentation, including PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and feature specifications.
• Partner with engineering and design teams throughout the product lifecycle, from discovery and development through testing, launch, and iteration.
• Manage product backlogs, sprint priorities, and release planning in collaboration with technical teams.
• Work closely with compliance teams to ensure products meet financial regulations and industry requirements before launch.
• Collaborate with external technology and platform partners on integrations, capabilities, and roadmap alignment.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including operations, support, marketing, and leadership to ensure successful product delivery.
• Build strong communication channels between business teams and engineering by translating goals into actionable technical requirements.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is an experienced product professional with a strong understanding of financial technology, brokerage platforms, and regulated product development. You should be comfortable owning products end-to-end, working with technical teams, and making informed decisions in a fast-paced startup environment.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 3-5 years of product management experience, ideally within brokerage, fintech, financial services, FCM, introducing broker, or another regulated industry.
• Proven experience owning product roadmaps from discovery and prioritization through launch and performance measurement.
• Experience collaborating with compliance and regulatory stakeholders to develop viable financial products.
• Strong understanding of product strategy, customer discovery, requirements gathering, and agile delivery processes.
• Ability to write clear product specifications and align technical, business, and operational stakeholders around decisions.
• Data-driven mindset with experience defining metrics and using insights to prioritize product improvements.
• Experience working directly with engineering and design teams using agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Linear, or Productboard.
• Strong ownership mentality, problem-solving skills, and ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building products within futures brokerage, trading platforms, FCMs, proprietary trading firms, or similar environments.
• Familiarity with trading systems, market structure, futures, derivatives, equities, options, or alternative financial products.
• Experience with client onboarding, KYC/AML processes, account funding workflows, or regulated financial operations.
• Knowledge of platforms, exchanges, or financial market infrastructure.
