ABOUT THE ROLE

Careerscape is supporting a client opening for a Remote Entry-Level Cybersecurity Analyst. This role focuses on supporting security monitoring, maintaining documentation, reviewing system alerts, and helping teams protect business technology environments.

COMPENSATION

The salary range for this role is $80,000 - $105,000 per year, based on experience, analytical abilities, technical skills, and client hiring needs.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

- Monitor security alerts and system activity

- Support incident tracking and documentation

- Review reports and maintain security records

- Assist with access and user administration processes

- Track operational and security issues

- Support compliance and risk initiatives

- Prepare reports and performance summaries

- Maintain documentation and internal systems

- Coordinate with technical and business teams

- Support process improvement initiatives

- Assist with project coordination activities

- Support special projects and administrative tasks

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

- High school diploma or equivalent required

- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred

- 0–2 years of experience in customer support, administration, IT, or related roles

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent attention to detail and organization

- Basic understanding of technology and security concepts

- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace

- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment

- Professional and dependable mindset

NICE TO HAVE

- IT support or help desk experience

- Exposure to cybersecurity concepts

- Experience with documentation and reporting
