Job Description


This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Manual QA Engineer (Front SEO) based in the Netherlands.

This role sits within a fast-scaling product and technology environment focused on delivering high-quality web experiences for international users. You will be responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and correctness of frontend features with a strong emphasis on SEO-critical functionality. The position combines hands-on manual testing with deep analytical work across web architecture, rendering, and indexing behavior. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to validate requirements, identify issues early, and safeguard production quality. A key part of the role involves understanding how frontend changes impact search visibility, crawling, and user experience at scale. This is a highly collaborative and detail-oriented position where quality assurance directly influences product visibility and performance in global markets.

Accountabilities

  • Analyze technical requirements and participate in task discussions to ensure clear understanding of expected functionality and edge cases.
  • Create detailed test documentation including checklists, test cases, and structured test scenarios for web and frontend features.
  • Perform functional, regression, and acceptance testing across web applications, with a focus on frontend behavior and SEO impact.
  • Validate deployments across test and production environments, ensuring smooth releases and system stability.
  • Analyze test runs, maintain existing test documentation, and continuously improve testing coverage and processes.
  • Support bug tracking throughout the STLC lifecycle, ensuring clear reporting, follow-up, and resolution.
  • Conduct demos and provide clear feedback and insights to development, product, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and analyze production issues and ensure effective resolution.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in manual QA roles, ideally focused on web applications or frontend testing.
  • Strong understanding of client-server architecture, web technologies, HTML, and CSS.
  • Experience testing web applications with strong attention to detail and structured test design techniques.
  • Ability to create clear and comprehensive test documentation (test cases, checklists, functional descriptions).
  • Experience working with DevTools and version control systems such as Git, as well as CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify issues in complex web environments.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Bonus: Experience in iGaming or high-traffic digital products.
