Job Description


This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Art Director based in the United States.

As an Art Director, you will lead the development of compelling, multi-channel creative campaigns that combine strong visual storytelling with strategic thinking. Working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, you will create impactful experiences across digital, social, video, print, and emerging media channels. This role offers the opportunity to shape creative concepts from ideation through execution while contributing to innovative, performance-driven campaigns for a diverse portfolio of brands. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, mentor junior creatives, and help explore new technologies that enhance creative workflows. The position is ideal for a highly conceptual designer who thrives on solving creative challenges, delivering exceptional work, and staying at the forefront of industry trends and innovation.

Accountabilities

  • Develop and execute original creative concepts and visual solutions across a variety of channels, including social media, digital advertising, video, email marketing, landing pages, and web experiences.
  • Create and adapt campaign assets for additional formats such as print, out-of-home advertising, broadcast, and other integrated marketing channels.
  • Lead the design process from concept development through final delivery, ensuring high creative standards and consistency across all touchpoints.
  • Translate brand guidelines into engaging, visually compelling creative that supports business objectives and audience engagement.
  • Collaborate closely with account, project management, and cross-functional teams to align creative execution with client goals and project timelines.
  • Explore and integrate AI-powered tools and emerging technologies into creative workflows to enhance ideation, production efficiency, and innovation.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers, supporting creative development and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
  • Contribute strategic insights and creative recommendations based on audience behavior, performance data, and industry trends.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of experience in an agency, creative studio, or similar fast-paced creative environment.
  • Strong graphic design foundation with deep expertise in design principles, typography, composition, branding, and visual communication.
  • Proven ability to concept and execute integrated campaigns across multiple channels, including social, digital, video, web, and print.
  • Demonstrated experience creating social-first and performance-driven creative campaigns that drive engagement and results.
  • Advanced proficiency with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing conceptual thinking, creative strategy, and multi-channel campaign execution.
  • Excellent visual storytelling skills with a strong understanding of how copy and design work together to create impactful experiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and high-quality deliverables.
  • Curiosity and openness to leveraging AI tools and emerging technologies within creative processes.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently while contributing positively to team environments.
  • Availability to work within Pacific Time Zone (PST) business hours.
  • Experience with motion design, animation, Adobe After Effects, or Premiere Pro is considered a strong advantage.
