Key Responsibilities
Own and define the global marketing strategy across brand, demand generation, product marketing, content, and field/partner marketing, ensuring alignment with overall revenue objectives
Build and scale a high-performance demand generation engine across paid, organic, ABM, and partner channels to consistently drive pipeline growth
Develop and own brand positioning, messaging architecture, and category leadership strategy within cybersecurity, DLP, and workforce analytics markets
Partner closely with Sales, Product, and Revenue leadership to ensure marketing efforts directly translate into measurable pipeline and revenue outcomes
Lead product marketing strategy including product launches, competitive positioning, pricing communication, and sales enablement materials
Oversee digital, content, and SEO/SEM strategy while building a strong thought leadership presence across key industry audiences
Design and implement marketing analytics, attribution frameworks, and performance reporting systems to demonstrate ROI and optimize spend
Build, lead, and scale a global marketing organization while developing processes, capabilities, and external partnerships

Job Description


This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) based in United States.

This is a pivotal executive leadership role responsible for defining and executing the full marketing strategy across brand, demand generation, product marketing, and global growth initiatives. You will shape how a leading enterprise cybersecurity and workforce analytics platform is positioned in the market, driving awareness, credibility, and measurable pipeline impact. Acting as a key partner to revenue leadership, you will directly influence growth outcomes through scalable, data-driven marketing systems. The role requires a balance of strategic vision and hands-on execution in a fast-moving, global SaaS environment. You will lead and scale a high-performing international marketing organization spanning multiple disciplines and regions. This is a high-visibility position where marketing is a core driver of revenue, not just brand perception.

Accountabilities

  • Own and define the global marketing strategy across brand, demand generation, product marketing, content, and field/partner marketing, ensuring alignment with overall revenue objectives.
  • Build and scale a high-performance demand generation engine across paid, organic, ABM, and partner channels to consistently drive pipeline growth.
  • Develop and own brand positioning, messaging architecture, and category leadership strategy within cybersecurity, DLP, and workforce analytics markets.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive B2B marketing leadership experience, including at least 3+ years in a VP or CMO-level role.
  • Proven success scaling demand generation and pipeline in SaaS, enterprise software, or high-growth technology environments.
  • Strong expertise in cybersecurity, insider risk, DLP, workforce analytics, or adjacent enterprise technology markets (or ability to rapidly master complex domains).
  • Deep experience with marketing automation, attribution, and analytics tools such as HubSpot, Dreamdata, LinkedIn Ads, or similar platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and scale distributed, high-performing global marketing teams.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, analysts, press, and internal leadership teams.
  • Data-driven mindset with hands-on experience in marketing performance measurement, ROI analysis, and revenue attribution.
  • Proven track record of driving measurable revenue impact, not just top-of-funnel activity.
  • Experience marketing to enterprise buyers such as CISOs, CIOs, compliance leaders, or security decision-makers is highly valued.
