Job Description


This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Support Engineer, SAP PI/PO based in Brazil.

In this role, you will be part of a global support organization responsible for delivering high-quality, remote-based technical expertise for mission-critical SAP environments. You will work at the heart of complex enterprise systems, troubleshooting and resolving integration issues across SAP PI/PO landscapes used by global clients. The position requires a strong blend of functional and technical capabilities to diagnose problems, design and implement fixes, and ensure system stability in highly customized environments. You will collaborate directly with customers and internal teams to understand business needs and provide reliable, scalable solutions. This is a hands-on, problem-solving-driven role in a fast-paced, 24/7 support environment where responsiveness and precision are critical. Your work will directly impact client operations, system performance, and overall user satisfaction across global enterprise landscapes.

Accountabilities

  • Provide advanced remote support for SAP PI/PO environments, diagnosing and resolving complex integration and system issues
  • Troubleshoot and debug SAP interface problems using structured, methodical analysis techniques
  • Design, develop, test, and deliver break-fix solutions for critical SAP application defects
  • Configure and support interfaces across multiple adapters including IDoc, RFC, SOAP, REST, JDBC, HTTP, and File
  • Collaborate with global clients to understand requirements, support system changes, and ensure high-quality service delivery
  • Develop and maintain mappings, structures, and integration workflows within SAP PI/PO landscapes
  • Monitor system performance using tools such as message, component, cache, and performance monitoring utilities
  • Document solutions clearly and maintain knowledge-sharing resources for internal and external use
  • Act as a technical advisor for assigned client accounts, ensuring consistent support quality
  • Participate in a 24x7 support model, ensuring availability and responsiveness outside standard working hours when required

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working with SAP PI/PO in support, development, or integration roles
  • Strong hands-on expertise in SAP XI/PI/PO interface design, configuration, and troubleshooting
  • Deep knowledge of SAP adapters (IDoc, RFC, SOAP, REST, JDBC, HTTP, File, WS) and integration frameworks
  • Experience with message monitoring, performance monitoring, and system troubleshooting tools
  • Ability to design and maintain mappings, data structures, and integration flows
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills in complex, highly customized SAP environments
  • Experience supporting SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA environments is a plus
  • Exposure to SAP CPI, SAP Gateway/Fiori, or Java/JavaScript is an advantage
  • Strong communication skills in both English and Portuguese
  • Ability to work independently, manage pressure, and collaborate effectively in global teams
  • SAP certification and consulting experience are considered a plus
