Base Salary: CAD $85,000 – $90,000

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Windows Administrator to join our team in Montreal. The primary focus of this role is to support Windows systems, remediate vulnerabilities, manage virtualization environments, and handle escalated incidents with strong root cause analysis.
You will play a key role in ensuring the stability, security, and performance of critical IT infrastructure in a fast-paced financial services environment.

• Perform vulnerability remediation across Windows server environments
• Configure, administer, and troubleshoot Windows Server 2008/2012/2016
• Manage and support Exchange 2016 and Outlook-related issues
• Maintain physical and virtual (VM) servers with maximum uptime
• Handle L3 escalated incidents and perform root cause analysis
• Manage Windows security including file system permissions, sharing, event logging, and disk administration
• Administer Active Directory, Domain, and Forest infrastructure
• Participate in system builds, upgrades, migrations, and patch management
• Create and manage VMware virtual machines, templates, and perform P2V/V2V conversions
• Monitor and optimize ESX servers (CPU, Memory, Disk, Network)
• Perform server hardware troubleshooting using ILO and HP SIM
• Conduct hardware firmware upgrades (HP, Dell, IBM)
• Install and configure HP ProLiant Blade and Dell PowerEdge servers
