Role: 2D Visual Artist (Remote)

Payout: $20 - $70/hour

Role Overview:

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a 2D Artist (Krita) to work on a contractor basis. In this role, you will apply your Krita expertise to help train next-generation AI systems for 2D artistry, contributing to the development of frontier AI models in the technology industry. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input, making a significant impact on the field of artificial intelligence. By joining this project, you will be part of a global effort to advance AI capabilities and enable more efficient and effective AI systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leverage strong Krita skills to create high-quality 2D illustrations, assets, and graphics that meet project requirements and timelines.

• Demonstrate proficiency with Krita's brushes, layers, and vector tools to deliver polished visual solutions and support the training and refinement of AI models focused on artistic tasks.

• Produce simple 2D animation sequences and project files using Krita, ensuring all deliverables align with project guidelines and expectations.

• Follow end-to-end workflows to ensure that all project requirements and timelines are met, and collaborate via written and verbal channels to clearly articulate creative ideas and feedback.

• Contribute domain expertise to support the training and refinement of AI models focused on artistic tasks, and ensure all deliverables meet the highest standards of quality and accuracy.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in Krita, with experience in creating high-quality 2D illustrations, assets, and graphics, and a deep understanding of Krita's brushes, layers, and vector tools.

• Demonstrated ability to produce simple 2D animation sequences and project files using Krita, with a strong portfolio of work showcasing your skills and expertise.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate via written and verbal channels, clearly articulating creative ideas and feedback, and working effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to follow end-to-end workflows and ensure that all project requirements and timelines are met, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work products.

• Domain expertise in 2D artistry, with a strong understanding of the principles and techniques of graphic design, illustration, and animation, and the ability to apply this expertise to support the training and refinement of AI models.
