This role is a key contributor within a fast-moving People Operations function, focused on delivering a seamless and people-first employee experience across the full lifecycle. You will play a central role in supporting onboarding, offboarding, performance cycles, and day-to-day employee needs in a fully remote and highly collaborative environment. Acting as a trusted partner to employees and leaders, you will help ensure HR processes are efficient, compliant, and scalable across multiple regions. You will also contribute to improving systems, workflows, and HR programs that directly impact employee engagement and organizational effectiveness. Accountabilities
- Support and manage end-to-end employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding, promotions, transfers, leaves, and internal changes.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employees, providing guidance on HR policies, workplace concerns, and People Operations support.
- Coordinate performance review cycles, engagement initiatives, and feedback programs to enhance employee experience.
- Partner with People leadership to execute HR programs, initiatives, and organizational development projects.
- Support compensation, benefits administration, audits, benchmarking, and reporting activities.
- Assist with employee relations matters, documentation, and interpretation of HR policies and procedures.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with IT, Finance, and Operations to ensure smooth and consistent employee processes.
- Maintain HR systems (HRIS, payroll, ATS, benefits platforms), ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
- Conduct regular audits and support compliance with employment laws across the U.S., Canada, and other regions.
- Identify and implement improvements to HR workflows, documentation, and employee self-service tools.
- Support payroll coordination, benefits administration, and employee data management across distributed teams.

- 4-7 years of progressive HR or People Operations experience in a fast-paced startup, tech, or similar environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of HR operations, employee lifecycle management, and employment law fundamentals (U.S. and Canada).
- Experience supporting onboarding, offboarding, employee relations, and performance management processes.
- Familiarity with HR systems such as BambooHR, Ashby, Pulley, Employee Navigator, or similar platforms.
- Experience working with EOR platforms and supporting international employees or contractors is a plus.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- High attention to detail with the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
- Empathetic, people-first mindset with a strong focus on employee experience.
- Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable improving processes in a fast-paced, remote environment.
- Ability to work effectively in a fully remote setup with strong autonomy and accountability.
- Experience in SaaS or eCommerce environments is considered a plus.
