Job Description


Part-Time (4-5 hours per day / 20-25 hours per week)

Work Schedule: 100% Remote (PT, MT or CT zone)

Pay rate – 25-30/hr


Role Overview:

We are seeking a Technical Recruiter with 3-5 years of hands-on recruiting experience in the IT and Utilities industries. This is a part-time remote role ideal for a self-motivated recruiter who thrives in a flexible schedule and can efficiently source, screen, and close technical talent for specialized roles in software engineering, infrastructure, cybersecurity, SCADA, energy systems, and related fields.


Key Responsibilities

  • Source, attract, and engage passive and active candidates for mid-to-senior level technical positions in IT and Utilities sectors.
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting: job posting, candidate screening, technical interviews coordination, offer preparation, and onboarding support.
  • Utilize ATS systems daily to track candidates, maintain pipelines, and generate reports.
  • Conduct initial technical screening calls to assess candidate fit for both technical skills and cultural alignment.
  • Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, Boolean searches, and industry networks.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers via MS Teams and Outlook to understand technical requirements and provide recruiting updates.
  • Prepare candidate summaries, interview feedback, and status reports using MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • 3-5 years of technical recruiting experience, ideally within IT and/or Utilities industries.
  • Strong technical acumen - ability to understand and communicate job requirements for roles involving software development, cloud infrastructure, OT/IT convergence, energy management systems, etc.


Must-have technical skills:

  • Has working knowledge and experience with LinkedIn
  • Proficient with any major ATS (e.g., Bullhorn, Fieldglass, Workday, Gustav, or similar)
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (especially Excel for tracking and reporting, Word for documentation)
  • Strong command of Outlook and MS Teams for communication and collaboration
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, part-time environment while meeting weekly hiring goals.
  • Located in or willing to work Pacific, Mountain, or Central Time Zone hours.
