Position Summary

The IT portfolio manager will oversee the governance, alignment, and optimization of technology investments to ensure they drive strategic business outcomes, with a particular focus on financial performance. This role bridges finance and IT, ensuring that technology portfolios deliver measurable value, remaining compliant with financial controls and supporting enterprise priorities.

Qualifications:

• 2 to 4 year degree in Information Technology, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Or related advanced degree preferred.
• 2-8 years of experience in Portfolio Management, Program Management, or Technology finance.
• Strong financial acumen with demonstrated ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights.
• Proven understanding of IT project life cycles, strategic portfolio management tools, and governance frameworks.
• Experience with financial forecasting, cost allocation models, and technology investment analytics.
• Strong communication, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterflow project delivery methodologies.
• Proficiency in portfolio management or reporting tools such as Power BI, Clarity PPM, or Service Now.
• Well-versed in C#

• Defines and documents processes to achieve goals efficiently; organizes people and activities, decomposes and integrates tasks for optimized workflow, and identifies opportunities for synergy and simplification
• Understands the big organizational picture and the interdependencies among roles and activities
• Anticipates impacts of changes across the system and applies systems thinking to accelerate performance
