Accountabilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize web applications and APIs using Ruby on Rails
- Collaborate with a distributed team of developers, product managers, and QA engineers to deliver scalable solutions
- Contribute to system design discussions, code reviews, and technical documentation
- Ensure code quality and performance through testing and best development practices
- Support integrations with multiple partners and platforms to enhance learning experiences
- Work in an agile/scrum environment with regular sprints and collaborative planning
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Ruby on Rails web and API development
- Strong written and spoken English to effectively collaborate with an international team
- Proficiency in Russian or Ukrainian (reading and writing)
- Knowledge of modern web development technologies such as PHP, JavaScript, RESTful APIs, and full-stack concepts
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a remote, fast-paced team
- Located in one of the following countries: Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Portugal, or Spain
