MERN Stack Developer - Fast-Paced Startup Environment

HireMyVisa is seeking exceptional MERN Stack Developers who can leverage AI tools to build and ship products rapidly. Work directly with our founder on multiple UK ventures in EdTech, Immigration, and SaaS.
What You'll Do: • Build full-stack applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js • Leverage LLMs (ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, etc.) to accelerate development and problem-solving • Ship MVPs and product features independently with minimal supervision • Develop scalable APIs, responsive front-ends, and robust database architectures • Implement integrations with third-party services and payment gateways • Debug, optimize, and maintain existing codebases • Take ownership of entire features from concept to deployment
Requirements: • 0-5 years of professional experience in MERN stack development • Strong proficiency in React.js, Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB • Proven ability to use AI coding tools (ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, etc.) to code efficiently • Experience with Git, RESTful APIs, and deployment (AWS/Vercel/Railway/etc.) • Ability to work UK hours (2:30 PM - 11:30 PM IST) • Self-starter who can deliver complete products independently • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Excellent written and verbal English communication
Bonus Skills: • Experience with TypeScript, Next.js, or Tailwind CSS • Knowledge of Stripe/Razorpay integrations • Familiarity with AI/ML APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) • Previous startup or fast-paced environment experience
