The Web/Front-End Developer will play a pivotal role in creating high-quality, scalable, and user-friendly web interfaces for a global Software as a Service (SaaS) platform. You will work with modern front-end technologies, transforming design wireframes into interactive and optimized components that enhance user experience across multiple devices and browsers. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, integrate APIs, and contribute to the evolution of a cloud-based system serving users in over 50 countries. The position emphasizes clean, maintainable, and secure code, while also supporting the architectural direction of the platform. This is a fully remote role within the U.S. with opportunities to influence both technical strategy and user-facing design.
Accountabilities
- Build reusable front-end components and libraries for future use
- Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into high-quality, maintainable code
- Optimize web components for performance across a wide range of devices and browsers
- Develop and maintain new user-facing features using React.js and related technologies
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to integrate APIs for seamless data sharing
- Work with InfoSec teams to implement secure front-end solutions
- Participate in architectural and operational decisions to improve scalability and reliability
- Create diagrams, flowcharts, and models to illustrate internal design and workflow of solutions
- Contribute actively to an Agile team, ensuring successful development, testing, and delivery of features
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of professional software development experience in an Agile environment
- Proficient in HTML5, CSS, TypeScript, JavaScript, and JSX
- Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines, tools, and design systems
- Experience working with RESTful APIs and microservices
- Understanding of web standards, accessibility, and best practices
- Version control experience (e.g., Git)
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in cross-functional teams, including distributed teams
- Experience conducting collaborative code reviews
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with multilanguage support, internationalization, or headless CMS
- Familiarity with Docker, container orchestration (Swarm, ECS, Kubernetes), and cloud environments
- Knowledge of emerging front-end trends and open-source contributions
- Experience with Figma design tokens and design system implementation
