Overview

A Java developer is a specialized programmer who collaborates (working with two or more people) with software engineers and web developers to integrate Java into applications, software, and websites. He is responsible for developing a robust code that can be easily integrated with the larger systems. Hence, he plays a vital role in the software development life cycle. He serves many duties (from designing to testing) during the software development such as design, development, and management of Java-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining Java applications that are often high-volume and low-latency, required for mission-critical systems
• Delivering high availability and performance
• Contributing in all phases of the development lifecycle
• Writing well-designed, efficient, and testable code
• Conducting software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging
• Managing Java and Java EE application development
• Ensuring designs comply with specifications
• Preparing and producing releases of software components
• Transforming requirements into stipulations
• Support continuous improvement
• Investigating alternatives and technologies
• Presenting for architectural review
  
  

Qualifications

BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field, 0-2 years of exprence required
