Full Stack Developer in
the United States.
The Full Stack Developer will play a key role in supporting digital modernization initiatives for federal projects. This position involves developing and maintaining robust web applications, collaborating across design, development, DevOps, and QA teams, and ensuring systems meet high standards for performance, scalability, and security. You will participate in Agile processes and leverage modern web technologies to deliver reliable solutions. The role requires a blend of front-end and back-end expertise, familiarity with cloud services, and adherence to accessibility and compliance standards. Fully remote, this role offers the opportunity to impact mission-critical programs while working in a collaborative, innovative environment.
Accountabilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize full-stack web applications using JavaScript, React, Node.js, and associated frameworks
- Build and integrate REST APIs and work with SQL/NoSQL databases to support data-driven applications
- Collaborate with designers, developers, DevOps, and QA engineers to ensure seamless delivery of software solutions
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
- Ensure applications meet security, accessibility (Section 508), and compliance standards
- Troubleshoot, debug, and improve application performance and scalability
- Document processes, workflows, and system designs using Jira and Confluence
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Mid-level Full Stack Developer
- Strong hands-on skills with JavaScript, React, Node.js, SQL/NoSQL databases, REST APIs, and CI/CD pipelines
- Solid understanding of Agile software development lifecycle and practices
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams
- Preferred: experience with federal IT projects, AWS cloud services, automation tools, secure coding practices, or relevant professional certifications

- Competitive salary range: $104,000 - $135,000 (dependent on experience, skills, and contract provisions)
