This role is critical for maintaining and enhancing the organization's cybersecurity posture across both digital and physical environments. You will manage and implement identity and access controls, evaluate security risks, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Acting as a trusted advisor to IT teams and business stakeholders, you will design and enforce policies, monitor systems for potential threats, and respond to security incidents. This position combines technical expertise, strategic risk management, and collaboration to protect sensitive data, maintain operational continuity, and strengthen overall security resilience. Ideal candidates are experienced in identity governance, cloud security, and enterprise-level security administration.

Accountabilities

  • Develop, implement, and enforce security policies for user access, identity management, and cloud-based environments
  • Manage Active Directory, Entra ID, Okta, and other identity providers, including advanced identity solutions like PAM, IGA, CIEM, and UEBA
  • Configure and oversee Microsoft Purview tools, including DLP, sensitivity labels, and retention policies to protect sensitive information
  • Conduct security audits, risk assessments, and compliance evaluations, providing actionable recommendations for mitigation
  • Monitor system logs, SIEM tools, and endpoint activity to detect and respond to security incidents promptly
  • Lead incident response efforts, collaborate with internal and external teams, and ensure timely remediation
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to IT staff and business users on best practices for identity, access, and security management


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field; advanced degree preferred
  • Industry-recognized security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CompTIA Security+, or Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert
  • 5+ years of experience in network/system administration or equivalent cybersecurity experience
  • Hands-on expertise with Microsoft 365 services, including Entra ID, SharePoint, Teams, and Microsoft Purview
  • Proficiency in identity and access management, security controls, and compliance frameworks (HIPAA, HITRUST, GDPR, PCI, SOX, CPRA)
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to work independently while fostering collaboration across cross-functional teams
  • Experience with security automation, scripting (PowerShell, Python), and emerging Microsoft technologies is a plus
