Engineering Manager (Product) - Quantum AI | AI Start-up | 9-Month fixed-term Contract

This is a Hybrid opportunity working out of Madrid or Barcelona.

The Role:

You'll be a people manager and technical partner, responsible for leading and motivating a diverse technical team to deliver projects on time and to a high standard. This involves:

• Setting clear objectives and providing hands-on technical guidance.
• Developing efficient workflows and best practices for productivity and scale.
• Removing blockers, monitoring performance, and communicating progress/risks to senior leadership.
• Mentoring team members and aligning team priorities with organizational goals.

Key Qualifications:

• Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Physics).
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in a relevant engineering domain (Software, Data Science, etc.).
• 1+ year of successful engineering management experience.
• Strong technical understanding of modern software engineering practices.
• Proficiency with key tools/workflows (Python, Git, Docker, CI/CD).
• Familiarity with Agile and emerging AI/ML technologies.
• Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills (perfect command of English).
