This role is ideal for a versatile engineer with strong experience in both software development and system operations. You will design, build, and integrate services into a unified, reliable infrastructure while enhancing automation and CI/CD practices. The position offers the opportunity to work on complex systems, streamline workflows, and improve service reliability and scalability. You will collaborate closely with development teams to optimize operational processes and contribute to the continuous improvement of developer productivity. This is a hands-on role with a direct impact on both internal infrastructure and customer-facing solutions. The environment encourages learning, innovation, and the application of best practices across Linux-based cloud infrastructures.

Accountabilities

  • Design, implement, and integrate new services across the infrastructure
  • Maintain system reliability by diagnosing and resolving issues to ensure continuous, stable operations
  • Automate workflows and deployments using CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and monitoring tools
  • Build custom scripts and tooling while integrating third-party services to enhance efficiency and observability
  • Collaborate with development teams to optimize operational processes and deployment pipelines
  • Research and apply industry best practices to continuously improve scalability, stability, and usability


Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of Linux-based systems, including troubleshooting and recovery; RPM/DEB packaging experience is a plus
  • Proficiency in Terraform for managing cloud VMs and services across platforms like OpenNebula, Hetzner, and DigitalOcean
  • Experience with Ansible, including playbook authoring and service configuration; familiarity with AWX/Ansible Tower is a bonus
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability tools, including Grafana, Prometheus, and optionally Loki
  • Programming proficiency in Python and Bash for automation and tooling; experience with Go is a plus
  • Solid experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines, including integration with external tools and test automation
  • Strong sense of ownership, curiosity, and ability to balance operational support with long-term infrastructure improvements
