About the Role
We’re seeking a Mid/Senior Backend Developer to join one of our partner companies in the gaming industry. You’ll play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend services for a greenfield product currently in active development.
This is an ongoing, 100% remote role offering long-term stability and the opportunity to work with a small, dynamic, and highly collaborative team.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain robust, well-tested backend services using Java and Spring Boot
- Manage infrastructure, DevOps, and the full CI/CD process, ensuring smooth deployment to AWS
- Contribute to the overall architecture and product direction from a technical perspective
- Ensure the system meets high standards of security, scalability, and reliability
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to deliver high-quality features on schedule
Requirements- 4+ years of professional backend development experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Java (minimum 2 years)
- Proficiency in Spring Boot (minimum 1 year)
- Experience with AWS or another cloud platform (e.g., GCP)
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps workflows
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on scalable and secure solutions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in remote teams
Nice to Have- Familiarity with PostgreSQL or other relational databases
- Experience with real-time technologies (e.g., WebSockets)
- Background in gaming, real-time applications, or transactional systems
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies
- Previous exposure to startup or fast-paced environments
- Interest in architecture, system design, or mentoring junior developers
