We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Engineering Manager to lead a Risk-focused engineering team in building and scaling innovative solutions for enterprise SaaS products. In this role, you will drive the technical vision, mentor engineers, and oversee the development of secure, reliable, and high-performing features. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Product, QA, Design, and Customer Success teams to ensure impactful, user-focused outcomes. This is an opportunity to influence strategic initiatives, manage complex projects, and cultivate a high-performing engineering culture in a fast-paced, customer-obsessed environment. The position is fully remote, offering flexibility while maintaining strong team engagement and operational excellence.

Accountabilities

As a Senior Engineering Manager, Risk, you will:

  • Lead the technical direction and execution of Risk-related initiatives across the platform
  • Mentor, inspire, and grow a diverse team of engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and ownership
  • Manage hiring, retention, and team development to build individual and collective capabilities
  • Partner with Product, QA, Delivery, Design, and Customer Support teams to deliver high-quality, user-centric solutions
  • Oversee the end-to-end delivery of Risk features, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability
  • Continuously improve engineering processes, agile practices, and technical systems to enhance team efficiency and product outcomes
  • Collaborate with other engineering teams to align on architecture, dependencies, and best practices


Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience leading engineering teams in a SaaS or enterprise software environment
  • Strong background in technical leadership, software architecture, and project delivery
  • Experience running agile teams, managing delivery processes, and performance management
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong cross-functional relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to drive strategic initiatives from concept to implementation


Bonus / Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience developing modern tech stacks
  • 2+ years managing development teams, particularly in a SaaS context
  • Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks (Ember, Vue, React, Angular)
  • Experience in highly regulated environments, particularly Audit, Risk, and Compliance (ARC)
  • Experience managing distributed or remote teams
  • Strong B2B SaaS experience
