In this role, you will be part of a high-impact team focused on ensuring the scalability, performance, and reliability of CI/CD systems. You will work on data-intensive challenges, designing and implementing solutions that help organizations manage and optimize their CI/CD infrastructure at scale. Accountabilities
As a Backend Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:
- Implementing performance and scale improvements for CI/CD platforms in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborating with engineering and infrastructure teams to define best practices for platform sustainability and system quality
- Developing reliable, secure, and efficient backend solutions with Ruby on Rails and PostgreSQL
- Writing clean, maintainable, and scalable code while ensuring adherence to internal standards
- Addressing technical debt and proposing solutions that enhance team efficiency
- Participating in technical discussions, assessing feasibility, and contributing to proof-of-concept initiatives
- Taking ownership of platform stability and availability while shipping small features independently and larger projects collaboratively
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should bring:
- Professional experience with Ruby on Rails and PostgreSQL
- Experience working on platforms or complex applications (large-scale experience is a plus)
- Familiarity with CI/CD systems, internal tooling, and DevOps practices
- Understanding of distributed, scalable, and reliable systems
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, suitable for remote and asynchronous collaboration
- Hands-on experience in agile, iterative development processes
