We are seeking a visionary product and engineering leader to scale a high-impact AI platform globally. In this role, you will own the technical vision, strategy, and execution of a platform that powers real-time AI-driven workflows, supports enterprise-grade security, and enables autonomous payments and compliance across multiple markets. You will lead globally distributed engineering teams, balancing innovation with governance while scaling platform operations from thousands to millions of users. This role offers the opportunity to architect next-generation systems, integrate AI/ML into production, and deliver solutions that have enterprise-wide impact. Your work will directly influence platform reliability, user experience, and business growth, while mentoring engineering leaders and shaping organizational culture.
Accountabilities
- Architect and implement next-generation matching algorithms and workflow systems for a globally distributed AI platform
- Design and maintain security, trust, and fraud prevention infrastructure to protect high-value AI data and operations
- Lead multiple engineering and product teams to deliver enterprise-grade platform features with consistency, reliability, and scalability
- Implement metrics, dashboards, and governance processes to monitor and improve operational performance
- Drive technical decisions for distributed systems and integrate AI/ML for personalization, matching, and quality prediction
- Partner with executive leadership to define long-term platform strategy, unlock new markets, and expand enterprise use cases
- Establish engineering culture and practices that attract, retain, and develop top-tier global talent
Requirements
- 10+ years of product and engineering experience with increasing leadership responsibility
- 5+ years leading multi-team engineering organizations at Senior Director or equivalent level
- Proven experience scaling two-sided platforms, marketplaces, or enterprise SaaS/data ecosystems
- Strong technical expertise in distributed systems, workflow automation, and cloud-native infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Experience integrating AI/ML into platforms at scale (matching, personalization, fraud detection)
- Demonstrated ability to manage operational excellence including security, reliability, scalability, and governance
- Strong analytical, strategic, and communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical challenges into business impact
- Experience leading globally distributed engineering teams through periods of hypergrowth
