As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and maintaining the infrastructure that supports a fast-growing, fully-remote digital platform. You will design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code solutions, and automation strategies that enable rapid, reliable, and secure delivery of software. Collaborating closely with engineering, product, and data teams, you will ensure scalability, operational efficiency, and compliance are embedded in every deployment. This role blends technical expertise with strategic guidance, allowing you to influence architecture decisions while ensuring the platform can scale to meet business growth. You will also serve as a subject matter expert on cloud technologies and DevOps best practices, helping to elevate the engineering team's capabilities across the organization.
Accountabilities:
- Lead technical architecture discussions and propose scalable, secure, and cost-effective infrastructure solutions aligned with product requirements
- Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to streamline software development and deployment
- Develop and manage infrastructure-as-code to automate provisioning, configuration, and maintenance tasks
- Optimize containerization strategies and container orchestration for scalable, reliable application deployment
- Integrate security best practices into all infrastructure solutions, CI/CD pipelines, and compliance processes
- Collaborate with product engineering and data teams to ensure infrastructure supports application functionality, data systems, and secure connectivity to external sources
- Evaluate existing architecture and recommend improvements to enhance reliability, efficiency, and scalability
- Provide guidance, training, and technical expertise to the engineering team on Azure and DevOps practices
Requirements
- Mid to senior-level experience as a DevOps Engineer within a product-focused environment
- Proven expertise in Azure cloud services and associated DevOps tools
- Strong experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and implementing infrastructure automation
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript
- Experience with Terraform, Pulumi, or Ansible, and container orchestration strategies
- Experience with PostgreSQL, Azure SQL / MSSQL; familiarity with SupaBase is a plus
- Prior experience in highly-regulated industries such as healthcare is highly desirable
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively within a remote, cross-functional team environment
