This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead front-end quality assurance through advanced automation and testing practices. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated UI tests that ensure the reliability, performance, and usability of large-scale web applications. The position emphasizes ownership, attention to detail, and collaboration with engineering and QA teams to deliver exceptional user experiences. You will help shape testing frameworks, improve automation coverage, and contribute to the overall quality culture of the organization. Ideal candidates are experienced in modern web technologies, CI/CD pipelines, and have a strong passion for building robust, scalable testing solutions.

Accountabilities

  • Strategically drive test automation and quality initiatives across teams and products
  • Design, implement, and maintain automated end-to-end UI tests for web applications
  • Conduct exploratory and risk-based manual testing when required
  • Build and enhance testing frameworks, tools, and environments for efficiency and reliability
  • Review engineering design documents and collaborate with engineers to improve testability
  • Increase automated test coverage and improve the quality of releases
  • Mentor and guide peers in best practices for UI testing and automation
  • Take ownership of deliverables and ensure timely execution of testing activities


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience, with at least 7 years in software testing or SDET roles
  • Strong experience with testing tools and frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Jest, Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or Cucumber
  • Proven ability to design and implement test automation for large-scale systems
  • Solid understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern UI frameworks
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Python for automation development
  • Experience in CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, and performance analysis tools
  • Familiarity with EmberJS, Tailwind, Web Components, and version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and mentoring skills in a distributed team environment
  • Attention to detail, pragmatic approach to prioritization, and dedication to delivering a high-quality user experience

  • Experience with Jira and XRay
  • Experience in remote-first and global team environments
  • Knowledge of enterprise SaaS products and cybersecurity or productivity applications
