Department Overview

With over 8000 software engineers, the IT Software Engineering Tools Team (SwEET) provides global services that enable them to work in a faster, modern and more efficient way that increases productivity and innovation as well as help develop secure and efficient products. Our goal is not only to provide professional support but introduce new modern tools integrated into our ecosystem for Motorola Solutions.

We are looking for a team member who will help us support and grow engineering tools like GitHub, Artifactory, Bitbucket and others in a professional manner.

Job Description

As a member of this team, the candidate will:

  • Work with various DevOps systems to align security and development practices among different organizations.
  • Collaborate with Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) to ensure alignment in tool utilization.
  • Engage with various CI/CD systems, facilitating integration and migration to GitHub.
  • Implement integration modules among these tools.
  • Learn various aspects of administration top DevOps tools like Github, GitLab, Bitbucket and others.
  • Provide support to engineers in the use of these tools.
  • Operate within a modern cloud environment (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Participate in global IT initiatives, including Product Security and Infrastructure Security.
  • Partial work on-site in Cracow office

Basic Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or related role.
  • Practical understanding of engineering processes
  • Understanding CI/CD systems (Jenkins, GitHub, GitLab, etc)
  • Basic programming skills based on scripting or REST, Groove would be an additional asset
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
